| Yeah well I played an all goblin army Skarnick and Gobbla BSB makes night Goblins stubborn 2 lvl 2 mages so I got 6 power dice per turn 4 units of night gobbos 2 spears 2 archers Lots of fanatics haha 8 bolts 2 giants bunch of other junk too but that is the bulk But I really only won cause I rolled like a champ. I litterly rolled 6's and 5's for every d3 wound roll and it was not good for the guys I played one guy played a throgg troll army and another played skaven and the hell pits and furnace dropped quick because of the way I was rolling. And the last guy had self destruct mode on and miss cast 3 times in a row with the same guy, and total misscast 5 times the whole game 3 of which were only on two dice. But all three of my battles were against top tier guys. They all were great players but the dice were on my side. So like I always say, I don't care how good you are at the game, if you roll bad you roll bad!!! _________________ aka Madslick, aka Dr. aqua fresh, aka Big Jennifer Garner, aka Tim Russel, aka Cream of Wheat, aka Half an Onion Bagel, aka Caw Caw Carl

Here was my list Vampire Lord- Lvl4, Know all spells, flying, Helm, Book, Scroll Vampire- steed, Redfury, Balefire Spike, periphat, nightshroud Vampire- BSB, walking death, hatred, sword of might, flayeed haubruk, lynci Necro- 2 Stones 2x17 Ghouls- Champs 20 Skeletons- champ, std, warbanner 5 wolves 5 wolves 5 wolves 6 Black knights, musc, std, hatred banner 5 wraiths Black Coach Game 1- Vs Lance ogres Turn 1 Lance moves and his whole army up. I move my wraiths infront of skragg, he has to charge because of frenzy, but he cant hurt wraiths. wraiths break him, cause some panics. From there magic charges start picking apart other units. His big irong guts w/ bruiser get hit in flank by a magic charge, black coach cascades in, they die. Maneaters fail first stubborn die to a flank charge. turn 4 (i want my cheeseburger!) all lance has left is 3 gorgers vs me 20 skeles. Next two turns i bring in the coach+BsB+ red fury vamp to finish them off and clear the board. Game 2- Joe Nuth joe had a pretty ram it in your face WOC with Kholiec, 2 exalted in 2 6 man knight units then some other scrap. Turn 1 Joe movesup fast My turn 1 i bait the khorne knights to get flanked by my Black knnights+ redfury vamp I destroy 1 unit of knights with Forge. turn 2 joe charges some things turn 2- i kill joe's sorcerer, flank his lone exalted with ghouls+bsb, magic charge kholic with skeles, and flank his other knights. No one runs Eventually wraiths come back rear shrine whose figting the skeles as well. I break both kholic and shirne, catch both. Exalted dies to bsb affter 3-4 rounds of not breaking. Some maurders die to coach. My flanking Black knights + Vamp, get flanked (only did 1 wound on charge) they eventually died. But the coach comes in and finishes off the knights with some magic support. Game3- I play my roomate (he came third) We both know each other well and he is really the only person i was scared to face. Some dancing around happens, he gets some breaks as do it. In the end its almost a straight tie. Overall had fun. thanks joe and lance for good games |

| Scooter, IC members and tournament players; I really enjoyed playing this weekend, it was nice to see such a good turnout by all players. It was a well run tournament and the food was FABULOUS!!!!!! All of my opponents were fun to play and the games were a challenge. My thanks to Dave Oue playing a wonderfully painted Lizardmen army; Josh Austin playing Warriors of Chaos which I am sure that he will not let his giant get charged by a steam tank ever again! My final opponent Ted Adams playing Nurgle Demons; he claimed that his dice while having average to poor rolling in 2 games got really hot in game 3! He made saving throw after saving throw....incredible! Fun game and it wound up in a draw by 7 points! At the end of the day 1 win and 2 draws is a good day, just need to get more games in! Thanks again guys and I look forward to attending another tournament you host real soon. Regards, Jim |

| Changes I'd make- Scenarios- I liked all pitched battles Secondary points- Id take these away. first off, you already have a massacre scoring system so people are fighting to do as much damage as possible. Why do we need to table someone? it really is unfair in some matchups to expect someone to clear every model off the board. This coming from the guy who tabled 2 people. The TQ one, again i understand you dont want people to min core. but to armies like HE who struggle enough with 2 core choices, now you want them to take 4? and keep them all about 1/2 strength and contest? its 1/6 the max points and some armies are way way way better at doing it then others. The spread becomes way to big in my opinion. The bonus things were cute, but I personally couldn't get 1/2 of them since VC have 1 shooting unit and never have Ld checks (barring general dying). perhaps my fault for taking VC, but some were just randomly dumb. So, for next time here are some suggestions. Massacre System with 3-5 bonus points (perhaps have an objective in middle worth no VP but extra battle points if you control) maybe a few objective points like control the oppnonets TQ for 1 battle point etc. This creates a little bit of spread. Painting- 1-10 have a judge score every army. Not opponents since people are too nice/ harsh depending on if they win. Also factor this into overall since there were armies 90% undone, using models from other armies etc. Comp- Dont really care bout this. there were some heinous/boring armies there. Off top of my head, 2 dragon 4rbt HE, 8bt 2 giant 9 fantatic orcs, 2 double abom skaven. If you want people to bring better lists dont allow Special characters, and have a comp score (though idk how this would get factored in) Overall- I had a lot of fun. But talking to a couple buddies they said that the type of lists that showed up and the fact that 80% of people had incomplete armies(using other armies models) would stop them from coming back next time. it would stop me too if i didnt live only 30 mins away. |

| I think 80% might be stretching it a bit, the only proxy that I remember seeing was Josh's boltthrowers. But overall that whole issue goes away once the IC tournaments switch to fully painted & based. (I'm assuming a painted & based proxy still violates that) Other than maybe a few clarifications in the rules (not really a problem after the first round) I think it worked out pretty well. Was nice to have a tournament where nobody got screwed by a dumb scenario. The idea of having one scenario the entire tournament is interesting, something fairly neutral like objectives or the traitor one perhaps. _________________ WFB: Dark Elf, Dwarf 40k: Tau BB: Mice (formerly known as mpire667) |

| Question about proxy's Does that mean that john who used his rat ogres as trolls would not be allowed to play??? That is a proxy and that would be wrong to not allow him to play with that awesome army. I think people should be able to proxy models if it fits into the theme of the army, espically with the new skaven because some of the models have to be made, so if someone wanted to use a plague catapault I don't see why they couldnt use a tomb king one as long as they have skaven plague monks for the crew then I don't think that should matter. Same thing goes for blood knights for VC. So yeah what would be the verdict on those things? I also think that there should be a comp score but only for a real big tournament. Because its fun to play crazy armies with special characters and all that stuff. I don't play warhammer any other time but the tournaments and so I don't get to try that stuff out. If it was a GT or a Top tier players tournament then yeah do the comp otherwise I would just let people play their lists however they want. But I did read something real cool the way a tournament was done and it was something along the lines of this, 2999 point battle No speicial characters No repeats of Rare choices No repeats of Special choices Only 10 power dice max Bound items count as power dice (power 3 = 1) (power > 3 = 2) That that was cool maybe we could try something like that, But once again I had a good time the way it was and wouldn't change anything. _________________ aka Madslick, aka Dr. aqua fresh, aka Big Jennifer Garner, aka Tim Russel, aka Cream of Wheat, aka Half an Onion Bagel, aka Caw Caw Carl

| Well there is an obvious difference between conversions and proxies. I used chaos knights as my blood/black knights and based them like my army etc etc. You just took 4-5 different RBTs from other people and put some gobbos behind them as crew. That is a proxy. |

| Scooter, thanks for having us Feedback I would give Closed list is a huge problem, especially since you guys didn't go over each list with allot of time, to see if there were errors. Also there is no way to know if you opponent is being honest about the list they are running. I know you think fantasy should be closed list but there is a reason why the gt's don't do that any longer. As far as the proxy thing goes I hope it gets resolved when you guys go to all painted and based. I really also think you need to get away from player judged paint, it just isn't an accurate way to judge the best painted army. Overall I had fun Just my thoughts Mike Ludwig Vp BigGunz NE |

LOL - sorry in my opinion a bolt thrower is a bolt thrower is a bolt thrower. Proxy in my mind is only when you sub a model as something other than what it is e.g.. playing zombies as grave guard, marauders as chosen, dice to represent skaven (my personal favorite). |

Actually 5 of them I converted myself from lizardmen steg bolt throwers but they were not fully done because I wanted them to be on really big mushrooms like most the stuff in my army but did'nt have time, and I borrowed only 2 of the bolt throwers I was using. Besides that I realized that the bolt throwers I used were a proxy but whos to say my army theme wasnt that my guys stole them from the other armies and now used them???
Your proxy is the same as mine if you really want to get into it, just because you painted it to look like your army dosent mean it isnt a proxy. I have a vampire counts army that is converted from Bretionan knights actually converted not just painted I can see how those wouldnt be considered a proxy because they are all converted as well. I painted my bolt throwers to fit my army (except the 2 that I borrowed) to look like my army so according to your idea you can just paint it to look like your army and bam its not a proxy anymore.
But it dosent matter that was not what I was even talking about. Your obviously a little angry or something because your still complaining about my list and the things I used. I just go to the tournaments to have fun, if I win great, if not I don't really care, its a game, and its fun. I don't care what lists people play. I don't care if at one of these tournaments someone played and entire proxied army because it dosnt matter to me. Its supposed to be fun and relaxed not stressful and super serious.
If you want to be super serious about it then go to the big tournaments and play there but these are supposed to fun local games. At least that is the feeling I always leave with when I go to a tournament hosted at the bunker.
And anyways back to the main point of what I was talking about "proxy models" in general like my example with skaven, and for the blood knights. Because if there is no proxy in the tournaments then neither of us would be able to use those models we did even if they fit our armies theme/paint scheme because they are not the models in our army and we did not convert them. _________________ aka Madslick, aka Dr. aqua fresh, aka Big Jennifer Garner, aka Tim Russel, aka Cream of Wheat, aka Half an Onion Bagel, aka Caw Caw Carl

| The truth is i think the list you took is insulting to the game and to your opponents who came to have fun. I know personally (and he wont say it here) Ludwig was really upset he drove 3 hours to play your list. Luckily i have been to the bunker enough to realize that its just the norm, and I have to roll with it. I will say i wish i would have gotten to play you for the tourny win since i felt as if i would have rolled that army. In the end, im a GT player, call me hardcore, or whatever, but thats the standard i compare even the smallest RTT's too. If Scooter wants to make the tourny better and get people from far away to come back (like Ludwig) then following some of my suggestions is a good idea. |

| Well it is a game!!! If you take it to seriously then you will get upset, thats why you shouldnt!!! I don't see how anything that happens in a game!!! Can be insulting. And it is a bummer that he had to drive three hours but it happens. It sucks there are not GW's everywhere so that everyone only has to travel 30min to go play, but anyways, I had fun battling him, I beat him but it was actually a lot closer then the results showed. And maybe you should have played me for the win, but to bad your just so good you and your buddy had so many more points and had to play by the swiss rules that you didn't. But I think you should stop crying about it and maybe next time just win all three of your games, and you wouldnt have this problem again regardless of what lists other people bring. _________________ aka Madslick, aka Dr. aqua fresh, aka Big Jennifer Garner, aka Tim Russel, aka Cream of Wheat, aka Half an Onion Bagel, aka Caw Caw Carl

| Its a game, i play to have fun but also to win. your list.... is not fun... to anyone but you. I spoke to all 3 of your opponents all of them hated your army. Hell you cheated your first game which might have gotten you the win. And i am that good, infact it took me and my roomate playing each other to take ourselves out of the top spot. Barring that, i say we both go 3-0 and come 1st 2nd easily. |

| I dont want to get into a big argument about this. If i was that upset about bunker tournaments i'd never come back after the first couple. Its close, with good prizes, its just not the "type" of tournament thats my fav. (i like no SC, and no retarded armies) As i said, the suggestions to make it better would go a long way, andI look forward to the next one. One comment i never got in before- the food was a great idea... i wish i could have won some free stuff with those missions. |

| Cheating and miss interpurting things are two way differnt things. I don't cheat, cause I dont care enough to cheat. And I know the people that you played to win, and they were not tough armies to play against so don't think your that good. | I'm glad to see O&G take the win. I drove three hours to get there too and wish I could have had a go against it, I would have laughed and enjoyed watching my warriors die horribly to maniac, ball and chain wielding fanatics Grats on the win |

| I'm glad to see you to love each other now that were getting kind of soapish. In our coming up tournament were going to be trying something new. I would like both of you to play in it round 2 as long as both of you have a win in the first round your playing each other. No special characters no proxies fully painted fully based. Comp tournament. I'll be playing in it as well. I fill that we need this fantasy tournament to get things going down here i think your all going to like this very much so have fun and kill things. I'll be posting the date and the rules for this very soon. _________________ Nicholas A Walters AKA Scooter Glen Burnie BAttle bunker Councle
