So do bolt throwers for dwarves and goblins still count as a 2 for 1 choice?

And do war hounds, doom wolves, stuff like that go towards your min of 25% if chosing troops.

I was wondering about these things.

Thanks

Nothing I've seen in any of the erratas change either of these list rules.

So yeah they are 2 for one and no War hounds, wolves, corpse carts, et al do not count towards your percentages.

FAQ and rulebook say that a 2 for 1 choice gives you double that many as your allowance for special/rare. So for orks at 2999 you could have 4 pumpwagons, 6 BT. Choices that did not count towards your 3 core in the old edition don't count towards the 25%.

and if the army book says it doesn't count towards core selection, the points don't go towards core%

so take your point target, divide by 4, you need that much core, and the non-core core selections essentially go in a new bucket. Net result is you get less points to spend for special, rare, lords and heroes.
Same for assassins, hairpies etc.
