I don't know if Pappa has put this up but he mentioned it to me when I grabbed my MK2 rules. They are having a build and play tournament with the new MK2 cards on the 24th. Pick your faction, build the models and lay the smack down on your opponents for an afternoon. It's a great way to get into the game if you've been sitting on the fence.

I'm planning on being there if I can arrange a sitter for the kids. Hope to see some of you other knuckle heads there.

Hey KFC, how's that Menoth treating ya?

Also, I might be there with just my already finished models playing pick-up games if you're looking for WM but don't want to do the pick and play thing.

There should be a good crowd there, even if they're not IC folks.

Baneon, were you able to make it to the event? I know of at least 3 people who participated. I think some of them are going to start bringing their Wm to tuesday night meetings so hopefully the group of players will keep getting bigger.

I think I'm going to run some demo games with Brent next tuesday (basically like 11-15 points) so if you have even a couple things built or want to borrow models I can teach you to play.

No I stopped by on Saturday to try and pick up a Cryx deck but they were sold out. I let Matt know I wasn't going to be there Sunday, babysitter fell through which is a common occurance for Sundays unfortunately.

However I did pick up a box of Satyxs Raiders and a Sea Witch attachment. I'm thinking I'll be running Denegra in Mk2 and not Goreshade. The bastard just doesn't seem to work very well but that could be me not being familiar with the game anymore.

I'll throw a tentative 35pt list up and see what people think.
