PostSubject: Warmachine Journeyman League at Games and Stuff   Mon Feb 06, 2012 5:49 pm

[From the Maryland Warmachine Players gmail group, more specifically; Paul Johanns local press ganger]

Okay everyone, here is the official annoucement for the Journeyman
League at GnS. The main details of the league I have made available
throught the google docs site the link is below. Anybody should be
able to get the document.

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1S9Ss0bwF6J132yRffWseQDElG5kQccRseUY-Hss1gnA/edit

If anybody cannot for whatever reason, just let me know and I will get
you a copy.

This league will run for 6 weeks beginning February 13 and finishing
on March 25.
Everyone will begin with a Battle Box or equivalent to start out
with. An equivalent battle box will be 11pts of warjacks/warbeasts
plus the bonus points from your warcaster/warlock. For this No Epics
or Character jacks/beasts will be allowed. In week 4 of the league
you will be allowed to switch your warcaster/warlock, at this time you
may switch to any other warcaster/warlock in your faction, including
epics.

On the last day of the league, March 25, I will run a 35pt SR2012
event where all games played in the tournament will be able to count
toward the league.

Now the fee for the league will be $10, and this will cover your entry
fee for tournament as well. You will be able to register for the
league at GnS, I am going to coordinate with Sarah Supik from GnS with
the signup of players.

Everybody that signs up will get a score sheet where they will track
their points for the league. These sheets will be kept at the store,
so no one has to remember to bring their sheet with them.

League games will only count at the store.

Once you have signed up at GnS please email me what your starting
Battle Box or equivalent will be, with Journeyman League as the
subject of the email, please.
Email address: bewiea4@comcast.net

If anything does not make sense just let me know and I will do my best
to get it straight.

This would be a great time for anyone who has thought about getting into Warmachine or Hordes to start playing. I will be happy to help anyone learn, I should be around just about every Tuesday and Sunday.

If you want to learn and are not sure you want to purchase models, I may be able to help you out with that as well. Just PM me and I'll see what I can do.

If anyone is interested I will add in my Cryx models to the pool if your looking to get into that faction, you can use them for the journeyman. Just let me know.
